ThinkPad SL300 (2738-4NS) - Restoring Thinkvantadge Features in brand new hard disk drive

Hi,

Recently my SL300 hard disk drive passed away. I've just replaced it with a brand new one. I did not create any recovery media so I've lost everything I had in my old hard disk drive. I would really like having all the Thinkvantadge features back in my laptop, specially the functions of the Lenovo Care Button.

Is there a way I could restore all this features back? Could you please help me?

Thanks guys,

I've just installed all the Thinkvantadge features I had in my old HDD. But my Lenovo Care Button (the blue one at the left side of the keyboard with a toolbox draw above) is not working yet. Is there a way I can enable it back? In fact my volume control buttons are not working either.

Hi Justin,

My Lenovo care button would also not work, but in this case after installing Windows 7. I've installed the latest power manager as you suggested, but what's the next step to get the care button to actually recognize the software?
