ThinkPad SL510 Camera won't work

Hello,

my camera on ThinkPad SL510 does not work, the green light next to it doesn't glow, programmes can't find the camera on the computer at all, I can't find anything concerning camera on the computer, neither on Control Panel, nor anywhere. Pressing Fn+F6 I must get to sound and camera settings, but there are only sound settings, and the camera settings button is present but inactive.

What's going on and how to get rid of it? Could I have turned it off somehow?

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Try reinstalling the camera driver, thereafter try using camera with Live Messenger, Skype or Yahoo etc. If the camera still won't get detected, then probably your system needs servicing from lenovo support.
