SL 510 wireless adapter turns off whenever I plug in ethernet cable. It kills connection to wireless devices when I'm using the Ethernet ;(. If it would automatically turn on it wouldn't be too bad, but have to run repair to turn it on.

Hi jandersfam,
1. Uninstall Access Connections if you're using it. Or open Access Connections and go to Configure|Automatic Location Switching and TURN OFF "Enable automatic location switching." You also have to go Configure|Global Settings and TURN OFF "Enable automatic wireless LAN radio control." Subsequently, select Windows to configure my wireless network settings following proceeding steps:-
a) Click Start | Control Panel
b) Double-click Network Connections
c) Right-click the Wireless Network Connection icon | Properties | Wireless Networks tab
d) Check 'Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings;
e) Click OK. Your computer should now be using Windows' built-in wireless configuration utility.
2. Further, go to Device Manager | Properties for the wifi card | under Power Management, uncheck | 'allow computer to turn off device to save power'
Hope it helps.

Thanks, had done everything but unionistall the access manager and allow windows to control (that tab for some reason is hiding), but uninstalling the manager seems to have worked
