hi,

is there any application software for SL series like such things are on DELL latitude and VAIO series that let users to set the battery percentage to a determined value,which is useful to reduce the charging and recharging cycle for people  how use continuously their laptops?

What is the 7 character product number of your SL? It looks like 2668-KHU and can be found on the back sticker.


On my SL400, there was no option to set "battery threshold", probably it's also true for SL500. On new SLx10 series, you can set thresholds, see this thread:- http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/SL-Series-ThinkPad-Laptops/Issue-with-Battery-Or-Power-Manager-for-SL410...
