Hi and welcome to the forum!
Once the hotkey is installed, press Fn-F5 to activate the Bluetooth radio first before installing the driver.

I think you're missing power drivers.
Install these:-

http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.p
Reinstall hotkey:- http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.p
Thereafter press Fn-F5 to enable the radio and install Bluetooth driver.

When you turn on the Bluetooth, Win 7 automatically installs a generic driver, I assume you didn't install Bluetooth driver from lenovo. Install this:- http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.p
You should see a Bluetooth icon in your taskbar afterwards.

Make sure you didn't turn off the Bluetooth radio by accident. The Status should say "ON", and "Click to Change Radio status" should say "Radio Off".
Also, do you see Bluetooth driver in the Device Manager?
