sl510 not able to hibernate

I have a strange winxp sp3 problem.  Hibernation mode diappeared from the start menu.  It used to be there for the last year.  I have gone through the Lenovo updates and still no hibernation mode.  Can anyone help ?

hey blairski2001,

try uninstalling all "Think" software and see if the Hibernate returns; if not do a factory reset of your unit with the recovery media.

I have a feeling its either an update from windows or a Think update that is causing this.
