Lenovo G455 "Unauthorized Wireless card"

I ordered Atheros-based card. But when I replaced original card (broadcom bcmwith new atheros card I get this message:

"Unauthorized Wireless network card is plugged in. Power off and remove it."

 Hi almolinsa and welcome to community,

 

 

Kindly update the BIOS before installing the new card.

For Windows 7 32bit

 

For Windows 64bit

 

If the issue persist, please get the card replace and check it is supported by the laptop.
