11 recovery disks?!!?

I just got my computer and am creating recovery disk. It is writing to an 11th disk as I type. What gives!!???

I am running out of disks!

you using CD-Rs or DVDs? i used DVDs and there were four total (the first, boot, disc can be a CD-R)

Crap! I am using CD-Rs. If it took you 4 with DVD then it would take what? ~30 CD-Rs!

well not all the DVD are filled up. The first recovery disc is just a rescue and recovery bootup environment. And the last discs is usually the drivers and softwares, which don't really take up all the 4.7 gig capacity.
