Now, I didnt tweaked. power management.
But now, i wanted to empty a pendrive, and it had the same result.
No connection to the pendrive.
So what now? Hardware error, or still sw problem?

Can't say for sure where the problem lies, if you run another OS and the USBs fail too then it will certainly be hardware issue.
Wondering, is the 64 bit Win 7 installed by lenovo?

Booted with Ubuntu 64 bit, live usb.
Connected 500gb.:
Unable to mount 500gb
DBus error org.gtk.Private.RemoteVolumeMonitor.Failed: An operation is already pending
Than attached 40gb, pata. First seems ok, but when I ejected, get this message.
Unable to mount 40gb

NTFS is either inconsistent, or there is a hardware fault, or it's a
SoftRAID/FakeRAID hardware. In the first case run chkdsk /f on Windows
then reboot into Windows twice. The usage of the /f parameter is very
important! If the device is a SoftRAID/FakeRAID then first activate
it and mount a different device under the /dev/mapper/ directory, (e.g.
/dev/mapper/nvidia_eahaabcc1). Please see the 'dmraid' documentation
for more details.
After disconnect, and reconnect, the same error message.
Windows is installed by Lenovo. added localization.

I made a factory recovery.
Plugged in a pendrive and an HDD, and same.
Goto service... ![]()

Yep, definitely looks like hardware defect, ask lenovo support to fix it under warranty.

Been to Lenovo Service.
The tried with their own 2,5 external hdd, pendrive, and it worked fine.
So I have to check all my hardware that work fine in all my other computers...
