Anyone install a Momentus XT on a T500?

Has anyone installed a Seagate Momentus XT drive on a T500? I have a T500 2081 that I'm trying to get the drive working on and it looks like the BIOS isn't even detecting it. I think it is fitting into the drive slot ok, but when I try to run a HDD test in the bios it doesn't detect the drive at all. Has anyone else seen this? Can I even use this drive at all? (if not should it work on a T42?)

The HDD should have came with a driver CD, you will most likely have to install the driver before the OS install. What OS will you be installing?

I'm a moron. It turns out I inserted the drive upside down.

FIX: pull out drive, rotate 180 degrees, insert.
