Anything I should know before attempting to clean the fan in my T500?

I don’t believe I’ll have any problems opening up my T500 to access the fan. And I can buy a can of aerosol to blow it clean. But I’ve never done anything like this before.

Is there something I should know? I’ve heard that the aerosol might freeze the fan and thereby damage the CPU. Is this correct? Should I use a camera brush instead? Or some other product?

when you using the compressed air, make sure you hold down the fan on the heat sink to prevent it from overspinning and damaging the spindle or motor.
