Audio through DVI on T500 + Dock

Hi,

I have a t500 and the advanced mini dock and am looking to supply sound to my tv. Since displayport absolutely wont pass audio on the t500 and my tv will only display at 720p on VGA I was hoping to use DVI. I know that some "newer" gpus can somehow transmit audio through a DVI port through a DVI-->HDMI converter to a TV. In fact this worked on the x1800 I had in my desktop so I know its true.

I was curious if anyone knows if it is possible to get audio to pass through the DVI port on the dock and go to my tv.

no this is not possible on the DVI port on the dock.
