should I contact the dealer or Lenovo Support to get this problem fixed?
Thanks for your help in advance.

I assume you're going to the Lenovo support website, to the Warranty section, and putting in your MTM and serial? If so, you might want to have someone with access to Lenovo's warranty systems check. It should be easy enough to call Lenovo support and ask them to check your warranty status.
If it is not showing as having warranty, call the reseller you bought it from and they should be able to help.

You will have to go through Lenovo and they have to run the check in their servers system. I am not sure whether the regular operator have that privilege, but the managers or head of the support probably can do it for you, and call you back.

I have seen this same issue being discussed at a different thread, which comes to reinforce the weirdness of this whole thing, particularly when you think of the reason provided, which is none:.

The issue is not even whether I could call Lenovo and have this information provided to me. I believe the question is why I cannot get this simple information by using the tools that Lenovo created in its site specifically for this very purpose...

Hi lead_org!
Yes, I was, but no longer.
As you probably remember, I had some issues getting my 3-year Depot warranty extension. With the help of a few of you great guys out there, I managed to get to right areas and at the end, I already stated elsewhere, I had a terrific experience.
Now, when I checked into the warranty lookup utility of Lenovo's site, I was getting that lovely message I quoted above...
For whatever reason, I finally managed to access the information on my laptop's warranty, which seems to point to a problem at Lenovo's DNS as someone suggested.
I appreciate your interest. Thank you very much.
