Charging iPad from T500-T400s

Hi,

 

I can't charge my  iPad from my T500 or T400s Asus and Gigabit has released drivers that let you charge iPads from their products will Lenovo do or already have the same thanks...

What exactly is the issue? Is the iPad not registering a USB connection? Does the laptop side respond?

Generally, mobile devices such as a phone can be charged even without a driver installed on the OS.
