Downgrading Windows 7 to Xp on t420s

Hello, I just got my new laptop, I couldn't find out how can I downgrade it... I have payed for this downgradable windows edition.
Can somebody please help...

did you get the XP cd? so you have windows 7 on the machine right now?

I didn't receive a cd.. I have win 7 installed

Just out of curiosity, any specific reason for downgrading? If it's just the odd app that is not compatible with 7, you can run it inside windows XP mode. Its like a VM.

I think it's the fourth... i remember they charged me for this...

that means you have the windows xp virtual pc system in your windows 7. this is differently to the Windows XP native installation that you were thinking about.

In more simple words... It's there but I can't use it.
Right now I couldn't find any possibillity to downgrade... Not from bios setup or IBM ctr-s setup...
Do you know how can I operate win Xp on this.

Get virtual pc and windows xp mode. It would run XP inside 7. I think it should be free/included too.

Is virtual pc is a software ? I need to download it from somewhere?
