Hi,
Does someone know modem WWAN Ericsson H5321gw (60Y3297) is unlock for worldwide, without any simlock or something? Or some of these modem can be lock (for example just to work in USA) and some unlock?
I would like to buy for example in USA, and I am not sure, that modem will be also working in Europe.
I have to be 100% sure.
Please for help.
Best Regards,
Lucas

That card is not carrier-locked, so is potentially able to work with any 3G carrier that supports BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) access and operates on the bands supported by the card.
However, not all 3G carriers support BYOD, so if you have expectations of using the card with specific carriers, you would need to determine if their access polices would allow you to do that.
Cheers,
Bill

Thank You very much for answer.
But earlier WWAN modems were lock, correct? I remember that about 2 years ago I bought wwan modem for ThinkPad x200 (maybe X201, I am not sure) and WWAN modem had sim-lock and could use only in USA (could not use in Europe).
Now all WWAN modems for ThinkPad (for example Gobi 3000, Ericsson H5321gw, etc.....) are unlock?
I see that they have to be Activated or something?

I have a twist with H5321gw.
It works fine here, in italy (my carrier is Tre).
I would like to make phone call, but this modem does not support voice services...if you have any suggestion...
