FN Key question?

Anyone know how to bring up the Lenovo wireless power settings from the standard keyboard – on the laptop its FN + F5 but there is not a FN key on a external keyboard.

Re: FN Key question?

I can't help specifically. You'd have to know the hardware Scan code of the FN key. The duplicate it by entering it in on the other keyboard. It used to be an Alt 3 digit sequence back in the day when key remapping and capturing was widely used. Kid of if you wanted the British Pound money symbol you enter it that way but that is listed on ASCII chart so the scan code is easy to find.

Good luck

Re: FN Key question?

You can obviously get a ThinkPad USB keyboard, which replicates all the function keys on the ThinkPad keyboard.

Re: FN Key question?

There you go. Its the best solution since my tackit would only hand one key input and not two as in a combo need here.

Re: FN Key question?

You can also right click the access connections icon in the taskbar. And then click on "Manage Wireless Radio".
