How to access the BIOS on T520

Hello,

 

i've been trying to access the bios on my T520 but when I press the ThinkVantage button before boot it just loads the Windows from the recovery partition with options to restore my system or do a memory check. Is this actually the BIOS or am I doing something wrong?

Press F1 at the ThinkPad boot screen.
