How can I find out what type of screen my T400 has?
It is supposed to be a LCD screen. How can I check that it really is an LCD screen?
I do not have any other T400 for comparison.

CCFL is just the backlight used in the LCD, there is also the LED backlight option.

You can check your LCD make and model and backlight type, by checking your parts list.
Then compare the FRU number with the list in the following link.

Thanks for the reply.
I wanted to know if there was a way to tell if the screen was CCFL or LED by inspection or test. Maybe Lenovo installed the wrong screen by mistake. Is there any way to determine this?

download HWinfo and look at the LCD information, then search for the model number on the wiki article.
