Hi,
how to achieve a Hardware-Based BIOS Reset in my T510? The Bluetooth Adapter is not available since few weeks, and i will try to fix the problem so.
The bt-antenna symbol lights up while POST, so I guess it is still working.
Thanks and Best regards

Go into BIOS
Keep the setting Config - SATA in mind
Press F9 (load defaults), F10 - yes and turn off computer
Boot again into BIOS and re-set the setting under Config - SATA, press F10 - yes and reboot
Now the BT-device shall be kept turned on until login.

You can download the Hardware Maintenance Manual for your T510 which will enable you to see where the BIOS battery is located and how to remove it.
Sorry, but there are no reset jumpers / contacts on ThinkPads.

so this is page 88. does the remove of the battery or the keyboard bezel assembly void warranty?
fn+f5 does not show the device, also the access connections tool does'nt list it. no entry listed in device manager. but it was before few weeks. of course, the device it is activated in bios.

ok, did the reset, but bluetooth is not working. also i sticked the adapter out and in again. seems its broken, however this could happen.
since i also got the whine-bug, i will submit a warranty case.
thanks so long, best regards.
