I think my T410i's keyboard died.

[ Edited ]

Hye all, I think my 2 month old Thinkpad's keyboard died the other day. I restarted my machine and after I did the "P" key and the "0" key and a few others around them stoppped working and when I hold them down they start all this random stuff on my computer such as applications or turns on/off mute and turns caps lock on. Is it really dying? I'm using an external keyboard right now. I'm pretty sure it's the keyboard because I ran hardware tests and the motherboard and everything is fine. I also did a restore point and it didn't do anything. I also updated/installed previous BIOS updates and nothing. It did this before and I just restarted and it then was fine but not now. I'm going to call Lenovo tomorrow and hopefully get them to ship me a new keyboard. I can't ship it to them because I have finals this week and have to have my computer. :smileysad:

Re: I think my T410i's keyboard died.

Ok this is weird, my keyboard started working perfectly again after 2 days of not working. I don't have any idea what to do. Any help here? Can anyone of the mod's help me get a replacement keyboard? I don't know where to start.
