I am kind of sad - we have purchased 7 units of T410, waited for almost 2 months and finally arrived.
When we open up the first box, power up, and saw the broken pixel. Immediately we reported it to Lenovo Care Centre, they send their engineer down the next day to verify, and confirmed it is a broken pixel. The Engineer told us there is no problem doing a exchange since it is less than 7 days.
But after waited for 7 days, the answer was diff now.
"Regards to your case, for 1 dead pixel, we are sorry to inform that we cant do a 1-1 replacement."
I know there are a industrial standard, must be more then 3 - 5 dead pixels than they will change... but ours was found after we open the box and power up..... not even a minute old.
Can Lenovo advise? Does that mean we have to get the vendor to open the box at distributor end before the delivery to us?
