Prior to my previous threads more problems have now appeared.
Here are the problems:
- Three dead pixels
- Fan is not working properly
- Bezel and lid is loose
- Touchpad and stops responding, freezes then comes back to life after a while, this happens randomly and is getting worse.
- Creaky/loose palm rest
- After 5 months the battery holds charge of only 1 hour or less.
This week I tried my SD Card reader and that is not working either. The tech support guy said he has 'dispatched' a new one to me and the engineer who is coming tomorrow will have it. They ordered the wrong fan I had to wait two more weeks for this to arrive.
Also, Lenovo say they can't replace my screen due to three dead pixels because apparently I am lying. I will show it to the engineer tomorrow and kindly ask him to tell them on the phone the problems.
The palm rest has been squeaky the moment it has been taken out the box, the bezel and the loose lid has also also been like this since the start. Apparently I am a liar.
Can someone please help me, where do I understand?

Usually I keep my volume low at home due to me usually using the machine at night. But I had a day off school today and thought I raised the volume on the laptop and I could hear crackling noises on the speakers.
Really frustrated to be honest.

Thought I'd post an update in regards to my laptop. The touchpad is not repsonding properly now, I have to restart everytime.

I hope you don't have to send it in Depot (IBM service center that fixes Lenovo machines). They're a nightmare to deal with.

Not pre paid ones. If you're paying and filling in the shipping info you would get one at their depot but insurance does not cover that either without paying extra $$$. Mine went off twice without anything.
With a copy you can track when they receive it. Typically the next business day. That is what I did and you know its in their hands. Then wait or whatever the arrangements are.
