Although the 1280x800 is OK and workable, it does frustrate the hell out of me. I regularly do a remote desktop connection to systems with a higher resolution screen than my laptop, on those systems are full screen applications which I need to scroll, so when I'm working on those remote systems I have to scroll 4 times, 2 vertical and 2 horizontal. It's a huge time waster, brings in possibility of mistakes and annoys the pants off me.
Also, the screen quality of my Lenovo T500 is absolutley awful, about 30% of text [email, online, pdf's] appears blurred because it has light & dark patches, presumably for certain combinations of text size/font. Tilting the screen away improves it, but it's a potential health issue for my eyes. It's the worst LCD screen I have ever viewed. Yes, I have the latest drivers, made many changes to settings etc.
If the screen doesn't get changed soon, the laptop is laptop is going in the bin ![]()
Thanks for your reply BTW. Appreciated ![]()
