New T420s from Lenovo shipped with scuff marks

Has anyone had this problem? When I opened my T420s in the sealed box straight from lenovo, I noticed a scuff mark that streaked from the left side of the palm rest, through the touch pad, and just past the finger print reader? It's more noticeable depending on the angle you look at it. But I'm surprised that a brand new laptop would have such a mark. Is this a job for lenovo's warranty department?

Is it perfectly horizontal? i.e. corresponds to the curve at the top of the screen?

It's a bit hard to see with the crappy camera on my blackberry, but you can see a scuff mark that's streaked across the palm rest. I noticed it as soon as I picked up the T420s out of it's box from lenovo. If you look at it very closely, the streak is made up of tiny scratches the stretches from the left of the palms rest through the fingerprint reader area on the right. It doesn't come off from wiping it as it's ingrained in the plastic. What do you think?

okay, must be something that occurred during manufacturing.

If you are worried, you can get the warranty department to get a new palmrest send out.
