On Screen Display Slowing WPF application

Hi,

I am using T420 for development of a WPF (.Net 4.0) based application. My Application shows substantially degraded performance whenever the "On Screen Display" service is on.

How can I fix this problem in my code?

OR do I request my customer to unset this utility?

OS version - Win 7 Pro, SP1 (64bit)

Ok, so no replies for Umesh after a couple of weeks, so can the Lenovo community tell us how we can contact Lenovo directly? This is a serious problem that someone needs to address. I will do whatever needs to be done but there needs to be corporation from both sides.

He can call Lenovo tech support. It's also in India as is he. My calls go there from Canada.

Thanks for the quick reply but this problem goes deeper than a call to TechSupport. We need an engineer on the "inside". If you are telling us that this is where we need to start then so be it.

They or customer relations may be able to redirect you internally but good luck. You're not going to find software engineer on the forum. I do think this is an official forum for warranty repair/solutions. Although some of us try to help and the odd post from people from Lenovo. You can wait or start making calls and see where it leads you.

I don't work for Lenovo or have anything to do with the company. I bought one of there products and thats why I am here gettting a sense of what the platform is about and specifics I don't see elsewhere.

I finally figured this out and MS had a hotfix over a year ago. Problem was trying to isolate it down to what was happening. Thanks to ANTS - Profiler I deduced a UIAutomation problem, did a Google search and bingo
