Re: One USB port not working properly

I was just browsing the internet and found this forum, and thought I would contribute my solution. I don't have a Lenovo computer, in fact my solution for non-functional USB port is for my 10 year old computer.... so this might not be relevant. anyway, here is my suggestion:

reboot --> enter BIOS --> Features Setup --> USB function --> "enabled"

I think it may reset to "disabled" when unplug the computer.... but not sure.

also keep in mind this is for my very old computer, so BIOS is probably different now, if it even still exists!

hope this info helps.

its something to try, at least.

Re: One USB port not working properly

Might need to like, forcibly extract the driver INF from the installer, then use the Have Disk option to forcibly apply the driver.

If not, try running System Update and getting SU to try and install it.
