Port replicator 4336 - 10W hot pluggable?

Hi,

 

I have a Lenovo port replicator 4336 - 10W for the Thinkpad T410. I have the power, external display, ethernet cables connected. Is this hot pluggable? That is, can I take the notebook off the port replicator without turning off the machine? If not when its running how about when it's on "sleep mode"?
