Power on T500

When I press the "Power on Button", on the Laptop, it takes 10 minutes to get to the first Windows XP logo screen.  This started happening about a month ago. I thought it might need an update to the BIOS.  I did that yesterday and it still takes 10 minutes for the computer to start.  Do I have a hardware problem or software problem?

Hi, i ve the same problem.

 

When i start my computer, 10 min after when i switch on, ibm logo appear. My Window seven loading normaly.

 

I ve update the last bios by thinkvantage. But the problem don't resolve.

 

Please need help.
