What are the easiest and cheapest ways to replace a specific key on a Lenovo T410?
I recently purchased one. Something got stuck underneath the left shift key, and when I removed the key, a small little nub on the hinge broke off, rendering it unusable.
I have called four of the Lenovo service providers in my area, but all have said that they cannot help me.
I'd like to know what my options are. Ordering a new keyboard is definitely one, but ordering a new key would be much cheaper, but is that possible? I could ship my laptop back to Lenovo, but I'm worried it will take too long; I love my new laptop!
Thanks!

I ended up calling Lenovo customer support. Since the laptop is under warranty, they are sending me a replacement keyboard, which is scheduled to come in three business days.
