T400 and SSD drive

I've read about a hundered posts on SSD's on this forum and they have helped quite a bit. MY question is on fitment though. I have narrowed it down to these two drives..

Intel

From user experience here do either of these two fit into the stock HDD bracket. I had an OCZ in my HP that I attempted to transfer over to my ThinkPad just to end up with this

I would like to avoid hackery if at all possible and am willing to pay a premium for proper fitment. I've even considered using the factory Lenovo one from their website but the price is a bit steep. Thank you for your time.

Both the Intel and Crucial SSDs you link to have a standard 2.5-in form factor with a thickness of 9.5mm.  That thickness should fit perfectly in the Lenovo T series caddy.

It wasn't the thickness that concerned me. If you look at the third link is what concerns me. Appreciate your answer though.

Not to mention that you do not put the SSD into the metal hard drive frame. You only put the rubber bumpers on it. You leave the metal frame on the hard drive because it locks the drive into the ultrabay caddy should you decide to use one. That frame is only there to help with vibrations anyway, which are not an issue with an SSD since there are no moving parts.
