T400 motherboard replacement

I am a newly trained warranty service tech. I have done a warranty motherboard replacement on a T400 (no problems) but I cannot find the "Hardware maintenance diskette" that is in the training video. I cannot update the serial number on replacement MB. I cannot find "HMD" on the SPM site and I have looked.

as mentioned only Lenovo authorised repair technician and depot has the disk to update the serial number on the machine.

I am a Lenovo authorized repair technician and the Lenovo authorized service manager for my company. We are a self warranty shop. We have about 500 laptops from R51 on up. My boss who used to be the service manager was let go suddenly. I inherited the position. The Lenovo rep. set me up on the SPM site and I completed the training. So I am authorized to have the software to update the serial number but I cannot find it on the Lenovo SSG or the Lenovo Warranty eClaim site.

On one of the other non-lenovo boards it was mentioned by another lenovo authorized tech that he also could not find the HMD and thinks it was removed from the Lenovo SSG (Service Support) site. I am just trying to find out if  it is still available.

your question needs to be channeled through your Lenovo representative. It would be illegal for someone to post a link to any source, legal or not, to download what you are looking for.
