T400 update kills Skype

Happy new year everybody!

Did a system update on my T400.

After this Windows Vista chrashed several times. Tried recovery button. Now Win is ok - but now my Skype chrashes.

Tried to uninstall Skype, reboot, reinstall, but it  goes on and on - Skype restarting itself, chrashing, restarting, etc...

Does anyone have a clue?
