Ok, so my new T410 just arrived 4 or 5 days ago, and as soon as I booted it up I kept getting a "windows does not recognize a usb device" message, even though nothing was plugged in. In the device manager the problem device simply said "unknown device", and there were no drivers available for it, so I uninstalled it, and everything ran fine for the rest of the day.
The next day, twice (and seemingly at random times) I would get a blue screen of death with the error code "BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER". Since then, I have gotten the blue screen approximately 6-7 times in 4-5 days. I'm not sure if this is related to the error message I had received earlier, but I assume it is.
I'm running windows 7 professional 64-bit with an i7 vPro processor. Has anyone heard of a similar problem or have any idea what I can do to fix this, or is there other information I could post to help someone figure it out? I have a 3-year warranty, but I'd kind of like to get this taken care of now before I go to college.

I have an Thinkpad T410 purchased in April 2010, preload win 7 home premium. Recently jus activate my windows, ever since, I always got this message telling me dat my windows is not genuine! Worst, the error message "USB Device not recognized" kept popping every secs! Even though I do not have any USB Device connected to it!
Even though I did a fresh restore using lenovo restore CD using a brand new HD, the 2 **bleep** message kept coming bk! In the end got Lenovo ppl to change the systemboard but still same problem! So they took bk n diagnose BUT come bk and tell me they test with a new hard and still the same prob! Still waiting patiently for them to solve it...
Can it be the motherboard revision?
Really needs help here!
