Yeah, they won't send that out to an individual owner. I just want to get the spacers. Is there no FRU for it? Maybe I'll just ry calling back until I get a more cooperative support person.
I'm currently using the index card method, but it's not perfect either.

They asked me to send in the laptop for cleaning. Figured this was a waste of time, but did it anyhow. Laptop came back, same issue (of course). Can't get the stablizer, docks are out of waranty. Reaaaaaly lame Lenovo.....this is clearly a design issue with the dock. Anyhow I "fixed" it with bit of double sided velcro to space the left rear of the docking station.
Sad to see a big company that is so disfunctional in dealing with an obvious issue. Skyscraper A come in this is Skyscraper B, hello, hows the weather over there.

So Lenovo is quabling over a set of 2 cent plastic pieces and shipping?
This is the absolute least they can do to attempt to please a customer.
Even with the stabilizer clips I may have to copy your velcro idea.

Yeah the velcro thing is pretty lame. I used it because its the right thickness and it sticks on the dock. I leave the peal off sheet on the side that faces the laptop so it does not stick to it. Pretty ghetto but it works, and i only have 2 T410s with the issue not 100s so it works ok for me.

So, it's been almost 2 years since the last post in this thread.
Did any good sollution show up?
At our company we have about 30 users with this setup and all of us experience this.
Sometime multiple times a day.
I read the complete thread, velcros/index cards, even the unoptainable spacers.
So, was there a real fix?

I don't think Lenovo has ever fixed this problem. I am having the same issue right now with a new T440s and Ultra Dock 90W that I just bought. I am dealing with a person in Customer Service Management; and am about to return the Dock for a refund, while I can still get my money back.
