Hi
My new T410 hangs (on average once or twice a day) and the disk light is continuously lit as if there is a lot of work going on on the disk. Nothing on the screen responds while this is happening. This goes on for a few minutes and then things return to normal.
The disk is 0% fragmented. I am running Windows 7 64-bit and Windows security essentials. I have installed very little on the machine apart from Office.
Thanks
Dave

Greetings to everybody,
I have exactly same situation here, though neither diagnostics nor windows tools report anything out of the ordinary.
PC-Doctor (i.e. Think vantage) stress test finishes with flying colours (all PASS), but often when mere Outlook/Word apps are open, I often experience that letters display themselves a minute later than when I pressed the letter keys. HDD light is constantly ON (CPU/RAM below 50%) while just now I tried to convert avi to mp4 and it just shut down unexpectedly.
Any thoughts? I know I should take it to the shop as it is still under warranty, but it is never a good time or enough time...
