My T410s battery will drain within 2 days while suspended. I have not tested hibernation but haven't noticed the same amount of drain. On all my other laptops running Windows 7 or any other version I can suspend the computer and will see a slight battery drain over a 2 day period but not a complete drain. I have it configured w. a SSD and wonder if this is the cause. Are others experiencing the same thing?

When I had this issue on my T400s, I found that it was coming out of suspend in the wee hours of the morning due to a scheduled task set by Windows Media Center. Check the event log to make sure this isn't happening in your case.

I checked my event log by creating a custom search for any event during the period of suspend and found no events logged.

I am having the same problem. On my other laptops, the computer would automatically hibernate after it has been in sleep mode for the defined period of time. That does not seem to work on the T410s, regardless of how I set the sleep and hibernation event timers.

Applying the patch of the link above fixed the issue for me. I had the version 6.1.10.1052 of the Intel Management Engine, which sometimes fails to enter in suspend mode but still switches off the screen and switches on the little moon light on the cover. Upgrading it to the version 6.1.32.1076 (http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/documen

I have no issue with hibernation. I have it with suspend. I did the update and the issue remains. As described above, 7% over 10 hours is 30% over a weekend which is what I experience. For me while suspended that is unacceptable. I have an apple and had a Dell and have owned Lenovos over many generations. Including the Lenovo that colleagues currently have. None of these laptops have this issue. Usually a 3-5% drain over 24 hours maximum. Apple even less. I upgraded my Apple Macbook pro to a SSD and the battery drain is a touch more than it was w. a standard hard drive but still not more than 3% a day while suspended. I wonder since my T410s has a SSD if it is cause.
What configurations are others members of the forum using exactly? This is my only grievance with the computer and all updates have been applied to date.
