Integrated Webcam on T400 not working / USB Unknown Device [ Edited ]

i had the same problem that windows 7 can't detect the webcam. but i fixed it by doing the following to re-enable the webcam at BIOS:
1. boot to BIOS and disable webcam
2. boot to windows 7, uninstall webcam driver and restart
3. boot to BIOS again and enable webcam
4. boot to windows 7 again and it found and installed driver correctly.

hi! first of all, sory for my english.

I have the same problem! t410 25374N1, with win professional x86, my webcam not work!! pressing fn+f6, the cam dont appear ! in the bios, i dont found the cam in security! i bougth the notebook in 27/03/2011 and the web cam was working fine in this moment! i upgrade bios and win to SP1 !

@natak22: Have you tried reinstalling the webcam driver?

yes, i try ! "unknown USB device"   nothing happend! i think lenovos machines was reliable

Look in Device Manager under Imaging devices for an Integrated Camera. (Might be different; looking on a T400.)

Right click the unknown device, choose Uninstall, check the Delete driver software for this device checkbox, click OK.

Then click Action, Scan for hardware changes

when i clik "Scan for hardware changes", the "unknown device" appears again
