I need a new battery for my T500 and I cannot afford genuine so I have only one path to go to: eBay
I have found a few batteries and I was wondering? Do I want more WattHours or Volts.
The links are listed which one would you buy.
Also one of the batteries has more mAhs is that better please post a response

The standard specs for this battery are 10.8V and 7.8Ah (or 7,800mAh.)
The voltage rating isn't particularly important. The nominal voltage of a battery can vary, especially with load on it when the system is running.
However in general, the higher the mAh rating the longer the system will run on a fully charged battery. (For example, if your system draws 1A in current, this battery will last 7.8 hours.)
Of course all of this assumes that you trust the specifications of non-OEM batteries. They sometimes, um, exaggerate their claims. Based on these vendors' eBay feedback ratings I'd probably buy a replacement battery from them but I wouldn't expect it to hold a charge as well as the real thing.

Well the first link is a few dollars cheaper. If you're going to gamble you might as well minimize your potential financial losses.
P.S. There have been reports of non-OEM Li-Ion batteries catching fire or exploding in notebooks, cameras, phones, etc. It's a rarity but it could happen. Then again there have also been reports of the same thing with OEM batteries sold by all the major PC makers, including Lenovo. (That even include this battery model. The original 9-cell battery that came with my T60p was replaced under recall.)
