Re: T510 Display Types

I'm purchasing a T510 for someone with poor eyesight. He likes his fonts and icons fairly large. I was going to purchase FHD and increase font (and icon?) sizes but now I'm wondering if  a lower resolution screen might be a better option. Suggestions?

Re: T510 Display Types

Don't order the FHD panel unless you are willing to wait 3months for your laptop.

Re: T510 Display Types

Quick anecdote:

A coworker who uses a 15" MBP walked by my new T510 yesterday and commented on how great the HD+ display looked compared to his.  I really wanted the FHD, the HD+ looks fantastic.

Re: T510 Display Types

I disagree that FHD 15.6 is too small for FHD. It's wonderful!

I will not even consider a laptop model not offering this configuration option, which I am using for at least the last 5 years.

Re: T510 Display Types

I can't make up my mind. I don't know whether to get the T410 with 1440x900 res. w/NVIDIA 3100 or the heavier and bigger T510 with the 1080 res. and same graphics card that I can't get on the T410 :smileysad:. Isthere a noticable difference between the two? Love to watch videos at 1080p. From what I've read that's basically the only difference between them. help
