T510 Windows 7 Professional 32 bit to 64 bit

Hello

I bought my T510 6 months ago.My T510 has 2 gb ram and Windows 7 Professional 32 bit.

2 gb ram is not enough for me.So i decided to upgrade ram.I can buy 2 gb or 4 gb ddr 3 ram.But my Operating system support 3 gb ram.i do not want to intall illegal Windows 7 64 bit.What can i do?Please help me.

and then activate it after installation using the serial no. on the microsoft win 7 authenticity sticker.

Actually, you can just grab the ReadyFor4GB patch for Windows 7 32-bit and it'll permit up to 128GB of RAM. However, that said, this patch breaks XP mode. I used to run 64-bit, but have since went back to 32-bit because I find it's a bit more stable.

I would steer clear of third-party Windows patches which claim to do incredible things, unless they're reviewed and approved by trusted sources.

The only reason I would not run 64-bit is if I had to use some software which absolutely did not run on it. 32-bit is disappearing in the rear view mirror...
