T510 wake in dock doesn't work

When I wake my T510 from sleep in the dock, it usually fails to connect to the attached monitor and USB devices. Fails about 90% of the time. I have to pop it out of the dock, wait for the 2 Windows device disconnect sounds, then plug it back in. Sometimes it will connect to the monitor momentarily and then disconnect. Sometimes it will connect to the monitor but not the USB keyboard and mouse. This happens in two different docks. I have been patiently waiting a year for some driver update to fix this, but nada. Very disappointing, as my prior T400 also had dock problems that were never fixed.

 

I have Intel graphics. Any tips? Thanks, Jonathan
