T520 Palmrest

Does anyone know where I can get the T520 Palmrest with fingerprint reader?

Also is the T500 palmrest and T520 palmrest the same?

you can buy it from the above website. The T500 palmrest is not compatible with the T520.

They don't seem to have one with a Fingerprint reader. Will T510's palm rest work?

T510 uses the same chassis as the T520, so in theory they should use the same palmrest. But i haven't test it personally, so that is just an educated guess.

Is it possible to add fingerprint reader in to the ntb without one? There is a plastic "dummy" on the palmrest where the FPR should probably go but I noticed on the pictures online that the FPR is little bit more to the right.

For example I could use FPR from SL400 - is it possible?

I didn't mean just the SL400 (It is just by coincidence sitting right next to me...). I meant to buy just the FPR and not the whole palmrest...?

I don't think the AuthenTec reader from the SL400 would fit the UPEK slot/connector of the T520. Also, just a guess.

The SL series Fingerprint and T520's Fingerprint use a different cable system.

Hm... I thought so..

I also found out that the plastic empty socket on the palmrest is probably for the colour sensor and not for the FPR (on the pictures it is more to the right side of the ntb...

So whole thing or nothing.. unfortunately
