My T520 Win-7, 64-bit is all fine, except just recently has been restarting on its own when I shut it down.
It fully shuts down, then after a second it starts up again.
I've made sure the Power button is intact, and the fingerprint reader is clean; assuming either might have been in fault.
I have rolled back my laptop to a previous "last best configuration", to undo a recent update, but nothing seems to have solved the problem.
Please help, for my laptop hasn't went to a full shutdown in 4 days already.
Thanks.

If you're shutting down and via the start button and there is a restart. Note if the Think start BIOS is displayed indicating a cold start as opposed to a soft restart in which it does not show up.
Wake up on LAN is about the only other thing that can do that.

Well you haven't returned to the board in 5 days with feedback.
Start it in Safe Mode and then shut it down and see if it stays off.
