T520 - Shut Down problem

Greetings All,

 

A friend of mine just bought a shiny new T520.  It’s a great machine with one problem…  When shutting down, the computer restarts.  This happens when using the shutdown command in Windows or when holding the power button in.  Suggestions?

Check in BIOS for the Wake on Timer or power event option and make sure it is disabled.
