I used Thinkvantage update process to and apply/install the BIOS updates both times. They indicate some items fixes. I wanted to see of the FAN speed table would change for cooling. I doubt they document all the changes anyway.
NOTE: If you call support for a problem. The first thing they do is check TVT and apply all outstanding updates INCLUDING BIOS releases. They'll even ask you if you've done that and remote in to verify and or do it!!!
So why not.
I know what he means but there are aspects of the system which can be better. There is definintely performance and cooling management as well as some other areas that I don't use that some people are having difficulty with. I will continue to apply the updates as they are release.
