Text appears green-ish/red-ish

I set up my new T500 a few days ago, and the text in some of my programs (basic Outlook text, Excel), but not all programs, appears to have green and red tints. ie in the word "Village," the i and the two l's both  appear green. the rest of it looks generally black with some red tints if you look very close.

I've adjusted my resolution and tinkered with the settings, but i don't know how to make my text look rich and black as it should.

can anyone help? does anyone else have this problem?

Maybe you could try playing with ClearType settings?
