I have received my T530 today (ordered it on July 27th) . However, I have a **bleep** dead / non-responsive pixel on the 1600x900 screen. **bleep**? Lenono do not test or do quality checks or something? They told me someone will call me within 5 days to give me instructions on how to send it back and get a replacement. **bleep** Lenovo, are you retarded??

Instead of waiting, you could always look up any number of authorized Lenovo warranty service depots because they can service your laptop a lot quicker than sending it in for a complete replacement. I had a similar problem with another laptop and the center took my model number, made sure the warranty was valid, ordered the part, and I waited a day for the part to come in, which took all of 15 minutes to replace.

My order came today. Order date 7/27.
Seems to work, did not notice any dead pixels. Extra RAM installed relatively easy (easier than my MacBook Pro, harder than my Mom's Vaio).
One thing I know is that I am not recommending ordering direct from Lenovo any time soon.

I checked the UPS site earlier today and my order seems to have gotten a label created at the same time. Maybe our orders are shipping at the same time
.
I just wish my T530 could come in before the 27th.... was hoping to have it on the first day of school :/

cancelled order on 8/9 after having shipping dates changed 3 times, and 10 days later, on 8/19, they shipped it anyway. Not sure what to do from here and I am leaving for college tomorrow.
This whole thing has been such a nightmarish experience which I will certainly remember next time I order a computer or help a friend get a computer, regardless of the quality of Lenovo computers.

What number did u put inside the ups tracking box ur order number,customer id?did lenovo send u the tracking number

if you don't have a tracking number, try using your 10-digit order reference number in the 'track by reference' screen.

By the way, an earlier message in the forum suggested Lenovo was fudging its dates on the record to improve its logistics record. I don't think that's the case. It turns out that we're getting dates and times in two different manners and that's confusing things.
UPS dates are generally represented in the local time of where the package is, while the Lenovo dates are all destination local dates. For example, my Lenovo actual shipping date is 8/19, the UPS labelcreation date/time was 8/20 @7:03am Shanghai time (or 8/19 @7:03pm my time).

Thanks I found it. Apparently I guess it ships out today but I havent recieved any email's from lenovo and my status page still says 8/19 as the est shipping day. This is just one huge cluster**bleep**. It makes no sense why the customers should have to be doing their own detective work on the products they ordered w/ little help from lenovo.Thanks again hopefully I can go to the UPS office around me and pick it up instead of them coming to me on my way to uni
