Ultranav does not scroll horizontally in firefox [Solved] [ Edited ]

I cannot scroll horizontally in firefox although vertical scrolling is possible

I've Thinkpad T400, Win 7 32 bit, latest synaptics drivers installed (as of this post) and firefox 3.5.5

I've added the following line to both TP4scrol.dat  and TP4table.dat C:\Program Files\Synaptics\SynTP\ which didn't had any effect after a restart.

By the way, the google picasa 3.5 is also installed and its executable filename is picasa3.exe unlike what is recorded in TP4scrol.dat and TP4table.dat as picasa2.exe. I changed that to picasa3.exe but the scroll inside picasa was still inactive.

Finally I ran the ultranav installation file and got the the location where it was extracted (C:\DRIVERS\WIN\UNAV). I altered the TP4scrol.dat and TP4table.dat which were residing there and reinstalled the drivers. The picasa issue was resolved and I had also added NokiaOviSuite.exe to the list which enabled scrolling in it, too.

But the firefox horizontal scrolling is stil inactive.

As Firefox is a popular browser, I think lenovo should consider including its support in its products.

I'd appreciate any help.

Fortunately, this has been fixed in the latest Synaptics driver
