Be SURE to run both the Microsoft AND the Lenovo updates.  Once those run the 4200 will appear properly.  Use the ThinkVantage toolbox program to do it.

I'd like to venture a guess. Is your machine that you have a switchable GFX model? I couldn't really determine that.

If yes, as WinXP doesn't support this, you need to set the GFX to either onboard or dedicated in the bios, otherwise it won't work. Be aware that only the dedicated GFX can access the digital ports, like display port, through the dock. That is a technical limit that cannot be changed.
